Jerrican Tan

Jerrican Tan is the Founder and Managing Director of Fitness Innovations (Malaysia), the parent company of FITM and FEA. FITM (Fitness Innovations Training & Development Centre) is an internationally renowned fitness education center based in Kuala Lumpur, while FEA (Fitness Edutraining Asia) is a leading provider of fitness education across Asia. As a specialist in fitness education, Jerrican oversees business operations, academic development, and the training of fitness educators, supported by a dedicated team across the region. He is the lead instructor for the Certified Fitness Practitioner Certification Course, the world's most job-oriented and globally accredited personal trainer certification. He also offers the FEA Body Transformation Specialist and FEA Health Coaching courses, specifically for clients with weight management goals.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Jerrican started his journey as a personal trainer and fitness manager before moving into the realm of fitness education. A former national junior bodybuilding champion, he has expanded his influence beyond Malaysia by delivering fitness courses, presenting at industry conferences, and supporting the growth of fitness education businesses throughout Asia. Jerrican also trains Master Trainers and advises several Malaysian universities on fitness-related programs. His foray into fitness education began during his university days when he was part of the university's fitness club while competing in bodybuilding.

In addition to his educational efforts, Jerrican remains actively involved in the industry, serving on the state bodybuilding judging panel and previously acting as a fitness advisor for Men’s Health Malaysia. Despite his extensive qualifications and vast industry experience, Jerrican is committed to continuous personal development, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Science. His mission is to raise the standards of fitness professionals in Asia by offering accessible, evidence-based, accredited, and job-relevant certifications and training, eliminating language barriers and ensuring affordability for all.
