CFP Module 1 Batch 7

May 7th - 10th 2026

The FEA Certified Fitness Practitioner - Module 1 (Exercise Instructor) Batch 7 successfully concluded from May 7th to 10th, 2026, continuing the journey of developing qualified and skilled fitness professionals within the Maldives.

As the seventh batch conducted locally, this milestone reflects the continued growth of fitness education in the country and the increasing number of individuals stepping forward to pursue coaching and exercise instruction professionally. Held at Legacy Fitness, Hulhumalé, the four-day live practical course brought together aspiring trainers, coaches, and fitness enthusiasts from different backgrounds, all committed to improving their knowledge and raising the standard of coaching within the industry.

Led by Edutrainer Simran Latif, the course focused on building strong foundations in exercise instruction, movement understanding, and practical gym-floor coaching applications. Throughout the module, participants developed their understanding of:

  • Human movement patterns and exercise execution

  • Proper setup, cueing, and coaching techniques

  • Exercise progressions and regressions based on client needs

  • Workout structure and programming fundamentals

  • Real-world coaching approaches within a gym environment

Participants were also introduced to structured systems such as the FEA A.C.T Resistance Training Method and the 4-Zone Cardio Model, helping them better understand how to apply training principles with purpose and structure. More importantly, the course bridged the gap between theory and real coaching practice, helping participants feel more confident in communicating, instructing, and guiding clients safely and effectively.

As each batch continues to grow, it reinforces the importance of accessible, skills-based fitness education within the Maldives and the need for trainers who understand not only exercise, but also the responsibility that comes with coaching others.

As highlighted by Riyash Riyaz, Partner and Director of FEA Academy Maldives, the long-term vision of FEA Academy Maldives remains focused on creating opportunities for local trainers to access practical, internationally aligned education without needing to leave the country.

The completion of Batch 7 marks another step forward in building a stronger and more educated fitness industry in the Maldives. Thank you to every participant who committed themselves to the learning process and took this step forward in their coaching journey.
