About the Course
Course Overview
Corrective Movement Coaches are personal trainers equipped with advanced knowledge, practical and “easy to use” tools to work with clients who are at risk of injury, present with muscular imbalances, or demonstrate movement dysfunction. They help clients move better, reduce injury risk, and address common movement issues—while always operating within their professional scope of practice.
Developed with content contributed by Ulrik Larsen, an Australian Sports Physiotherapist and Rehab Trainer, this course delivers a structured system of assessment and intervention for clients presenting with movement dysfunction or pain.
Through comprehensive Assessment and Intervention Modules via FEA “R.E.A.C.T”, trainers gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical skills to apply corrective exercise safely and effectively. This empowers coaches to accurately identify and address dysfunctions, enhance movement quality, and build stronger client trust, retention, and long-term results.
Course Objective
Identify when referral is required and when it is safe to proceed with client evaluation and training.
Conduct effective, practical, and easy to apply assessments to identify issues associated with muscular imbalances.
Interpret assessment findings and implement ready-to-use, evidence-informed intervention programmes to restore optimal movement.
Be provided with the “ALIGN” exercise library and develop the ability to effectively coach each exercise using clear instruction, appropriate progressions/regressions, and professional cueing.
