About the Course
This module is designed to establish a comprehensive foundation in exercise techniques, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to execute and teach exercises effectively. The focus is not only on proper performance but also on understanding the key elements of exercise setup, including joint stability and movement mechanics. Participants will learn to identify common errors, observe and assess exercise execution, and provide corrective feedback throughout repetitions.
Key areas of study include:
• Lower and upper body strength training techniques
• Movement progressions incorporating instability and complexity
• Myofascial release methods
• Static and dynamic stretching techniques
• Muscle activation drills
• Integration of functional training tools
Additionally, the module introduces the FEA A.C.T Resistance Training Method, a structured approach for coaching clients with tailored exercises and progressive difficulty levels for fundamental movement patterns. Participants will gain access to a curated database of exercises and learn how to select appropriate movements based on client needs.
The module also covers foundational programming principles and offers practical strategies for designing resistance and cardiorespiratory training sessions, providing fitness practitioners with the tools to create effective and individualized workout plans.
