Corrective Movement Coach

FEA Academy Maldives successfully concluded the FEA® Corrective Movement Coach course on 3rd and 4th September 2026, hosted at FLO Studio, with a full group of 16 participants joining the advanced continuing education programme.

The course was designed for personal trainers and qualified fitness practitioners looking to develop advanced knowledge and practical, easy-to-use tools for working with clients who are at risk of injury, present with muscular imbalances, or demonstrate movement dysfunction — while remaining within their professional scope of practice.

Assess. Understand. Intervene.

Developed with content contributed by Ulrik Larsen, Australian Sports Physiotherapist and Rehab Trainer, the course introduced participants to a structured system of assessment and intervention for clients presenting with movement dysfunction or pain.

Through FEA’s R.E.A.C.T Assessment and Intervention Modules, participants developed both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical skills to identify movement-related issues, understand when referral is required, interpret assessment findings, and apply evidence-informed corrective exercise interventions safely and effectively.

Participants were also introduced to the ALIGN exercise library, developing their ability to coach corrective exercises through clear instruction, professional cueing, and appropriate progressions and regressions.

An Area Our Trainers Want to Learn More About

The response to this course highlighted the strong interest among fitness professionals in the Maldives to further develop their knowledge in movement assessment and corrective exercise.

With 16 participants joining this batch, we recognise that this is an area many trainers are eager to explore further, and we hope to bring the FEA® Corrective Movement Coach back to the Maldives with more batches in the future.
