CFP Foundation Programme - Batch 9

CFP Foundation Programme - Batch 9

June 20th, 2026

FEA Academy Maldives successfully concluded CFP Foundation Programme – Batch 9 on 20th June 2026, marking another important milestone in the continued growth of fitness education in the Maldives.

Hosted at Legacy Fitness, Hulhumalé, the programme welcomed 10 participants from diverse backgrounds, bringing together aspiring fitness professionals, gym enthusiasts, and individuals looking to build a strong foundation in exercise coaching and resistance training.

As the entry point into the internationally structured FEA Certified Fitness Practitioner pathway, the Foundation Programme equips participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to begin their journey in the fitness industry.

Throughout the programme, participants developed a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of resistance training, with emphasis placed on safe and effective exercise execution, movement quality, coaching principles, and practical gym application.

Key areas covered included:

  • Fundamental resistance training techniques

  • Exercise setup, execution and movement mechanics

  • Safe lifting practices and injury prevention

  • Coaching fundamentals and effective communication

  • Practical gym-based exercise application

  • Equipment familiarisation and exercise variations

  • Building confidence within a professional training environment

The Foundation Programme is designed to bridge the gap between gym participation and professional coaching, giving participants the confidence to understand not only how to perform exercises correctly, but also why each movement matters and how proper technique contributes to long-term progress and injury prevention.

The successful completion of Batch 9, with 10 participants, reflects the growing demand for structured, evidence-based fitness education across the Maldives. Each new intake represents another step towards raising professional standards within the local fitness industry, creating more knowledgeable coaches, better-informed gym members, and a stronger culture of safe and effective training.

As interest continues to grow, FEA Academy Maldives remains committed to providing internationally aligned education pathways that support both career development and lifelong learning for the Maldivian fitness community. With Batch 9 successfully concluded, our journey now continues to Fuvahmulah, where the next Foundation Programme intake will commence on 25th July 2026, followed by our Hulhumalé intake on 8th August 2026. We look forward to welcoming another group of passionate individuals ready to build their foundation in resistance training and take their first step into the fitness profession.

We extend our sincere congratulations to all Batch 9 participants for their dedication and commitment throughout the programme. Their willingness to invest in education is another positive sign that the fitness industry in the Maldives continues to grow, evolve, and move towards higher professional standards.

At FEA Academy Maldives, this is only the beginning, and we remain committed to developing the next generation of fitness professionals across the country.
